About
Hey, I'm Jennifer.
I'm the girl who never outgrew her love for horses. Now I get to share that love (and the knowledge that comes with it) with others.
My story
How I got here.
I was always the kid asking a million questions, wanting to know how everything worked, and I still welcome the why behind the learning process.
Horses are inherently grounding. They are present, and they'll force you to be present too. Working with horses takes knowledge, connection, and consistency. In return, they teach you how to simply be: to breathe again, and to live in the moment.
I started riding when I was 6 years old, and I'm now 33. I thankfully don't know life without horses. I'd love to help you on your own horse journey, whether you're just starting out or continuing one already in progress. The best time to start is now.
How I work
A few things that stay the same.
- Quiet over quick. Pressure gets a horse moving. Patience gets a horse soft. I'd rather take an extra week than rush a horse into a habit.
- Straight answers. If a horse needs something I don't do, I say so instead of taking the work.
- You're part of it. The horse goes home to you, so I show you what I'm doing and why.
- Small on purpose. One person, a handful of horses, and enough time for each of them.
Ready when you are
