One ride shown, because one price was given. If you run more than one length, or a sunset ride at a different price, say so and they go back in as separate options.

The live calendar is connected. It points at Jennifer's Calendly event trail-ride-50min. Open slots come straight from her Google Calendar, so she controls availability entirely from Calendly. The location showing as "Provide in email" is deliberate, she sends the meeting spot herself once someone books. Still to set there: the 48 hour cancellation notice.

Booked? One thing left.

Everyone signs a release of liability before their first time out. You can do it here in about two minutes, and then there is nothing to fill in when you arrive. If the rider is under 18, a parent or legal guardian signs.

Every ride is just you and one other person. No string of twenty strangers, no guide calling instructions from the front, nobody stuck at the back wondering what they signed up for.

It means the pace is genuinely yours. It means I can watch how you are sitting and actually help. And it means that if you are nervous, there is no audience.

It makes a good date. It makes an even better first time on a horse.

  1. Book your slot

    Pick the ride and the day. You will get a confirmation right away, and a reminder before the day.

  2. Show up a few minutes early

    Come about 15 minutes early so there's time to meet your horse without rushing. You'll be riding one of mine, so there's nothing to bring but yourself.

  3. Get matched and mounted

    I pick your horse based on what you tell me, go over the basics, get you comfortable in the saddle, and answer whatever you want to ask.

  4. Ride

    The pace comes from the group. Nobody gets pushed faster than they want to go, and there's time to stop and take pictures.

What to wear and bring.

None of this is complicated. Long pants and closed toe shoes are the only two that really matter.

  • Long pants. Jeans are perfect. Shorts and a saddle do not mix.
  • Closed toe shoes with a small heel. Boots if you have them. No sandals.
  • Water and sunscreen. Sunglasses and a hat are a good call too.
  • Layers. Mornings and evenings cool off quickly out here.
  • A helmet, if you are under 18. Riders under 18 need to bring their own helmet and wear it. Over 18 it is your call.

Questions people ask.

I have never ridden a horse. Is that a problem?

Not at all. Say so when you book so I know to put you on the right horse and leave a little extra time before we head out. Plenty of first rides start here.

Is there a weight limit?

Yes, 250 pounds. That one is for the horses, not for you.

Can kids ride?

Riders from 8 years old and up, and there is no upper limit. If you have not been on a horse since you were a kid, that counts as a beginner and you are very welcome.

What happens if the weather turns?

We ride in all weather. Check the forecast, dress for the day you have got, and bring a layer more than you think you need.

What is the cancellation policy?

Trail rides are paid per ride. To cancel or move your booking, let me know at least 48 hours ahead.

Do I need to sign anything?

Yes. Everyone signs a release of liability once, and you can sign it online before you come. It takes a couple of minutes. If the rider is under 18, a parent or legal guardian signs for them.
